Taking an interest in the CBD flower's appearance can reveal many clues about the product, including its quality. Here are a few tips on how to recognize a good CBD flower in just a few minutes:
- Let's start with fragrance. Anyone can recognize the quality of a flower by its fragrant grassy scent.
- Colors: depending on the variety, colors range from grass green to chestnut green, brown, yellow or even violet. What's important here is the brilliance of the color.
- Trichomes, those little translucent crystals on the flower. The more there are, the better.
- The color of the pistils should be orange-brown. This indicates that the flower has been picked at maturity.
- A soft look and feel, neither sticky nor too dry and crumbly.
Pay close attention to THC and CBD levels
As you may know, in order to be considered legal for sale and consumption at America, any product derived from cannabis must contain less than 0.3% THC. THC is the acronym for Tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychotropic molecule found in cannabis.
Since their authorization on the French market, hemp-derived products have been subject to strict legislation, which previously imposed a maximum THC content of 0.2% in the finished product. Since 2021, this regulatory limit has been raised to 0.3%. But be careful where you buy your products. Make sure they are legally tested and certified at America.
