The fantastic rise of CBD oils

Cannabidiol, or CBD, is one of the active substances belonging to the cannabinoid family. It is present in the Cannabis sativa plant.

CBD is particularly present in the seeds, which contain little THC, a substance well-known for its psychotropic effects.

CBD oil can be extracted from the seeds and fibers obtained from the stems, and is marketed as such in many countries.

CBD has been used in oil form for around two millennia, and its trade is booming in many countries around the world. The popularity of CBD oil has risen sharply in recent years.

Firstly, because oils have the advantage of being consumed without smoking.

And thirdly, because oils offer greater control over CBD and THC content.

CBD is available in a variety of concentrations, generally ranging from around 5% to 15%.

What are CBD oils made of?

CBD oil is generally an edible oil in which CBD, usually isolated in the form of crystals, has been dissolved. These CBD oils are among the poor-quality CBD oils that we do not recommend.

Hemp oil can also be obtained by grinding the seeds, from which CBD oil is extracted. These oils are of much higher quality.

Mama Kana offers organic CBD oils made from cold-pressed hemp seeds and natural hemp extracts. These oils are called "full spectrum" in that their production method preserves all the cannabinoids naturally present in the plant, including CBD, CBG, etc...

Although traces of THC can be found, the doses are in principle so minute that CBD oil has no psychotropic effect.

Mama Kana CBD oils also have the advantage of being a concentrate of vitamins and omega-3 and 6 and, of course, of containing a high level of CBD.

CBD oil is generally used in the form of dietary supplements, but is not recommended for cooking.

While CBD oil extracted from hemp CBD seeds is ideal for making CBD oil, it is also possible to use other bases such as olive, sesame or coconut oil, to which flavourings can be added to improve the taste, which may be perceived as too bitter by some. Discover our cheap CBD oil here.
