Mama Kana Hemp Masks now available!

Mama Kana Hemp Masks now available!

Mama Kana pulls out her old loom and lovingly makes you these wonderful hemp masks.
Because Mama takes care of you and the planet, she doesn't use any plastic or PVC to make her masks.
These are made entirely from hemp, which comes from the beautiful, remote Himalayan villages of Uttarakhand, India.

Hemp fiber is a natural plant-based material with excellent properties: it absorbs moisture well and dries fairly quickly. It also has good bactericidal and fungicidal properties, limiting the risk of allergies and unpleasant odors.
Fabrics made from hemp fiber are also very stable. They warp very little with use, and their dyeing is resistant to washing. For the latter, a 30-degree washing machine is usually sufficient.

Last but not least, hemp cultivation is particularly environmentally-friendly, since its rapid growth requires virtually no fertilizers or pesticides.

The safety level of our hemp masks may not be as high as that of N95 medical masks, but the natural properties of hemp fabric make it safer than fabric or other ordinary synthetic materials.
